I was in Sargent prior to your incident (1998) and stayed with friends there for a 3 day weekend. I was out on the back porch as a guest looking into the broken clouds of a full moon night around 10pm. I saw a red disc above the clouds and watched between scattered clouds. I could not turn to call for my friends as I was afraid I'd lose track. It was there perhaps 2 min. and then it shot away at a tremendous speed. It's the only one I've ever seen!
