The Mutual UFO Network is the largest civilian UFO research organization in the world.
As many of you know, I have recently undertaken editorship of a new local newspaper: Austin-Para-Times. The spectrum of content included in this new publication is much more in tune with my wide area of interests compared to the focus of the Mutual UFO Network.
While I am always interested in furthering investigations into UFOs, the focal points of my life have shifted.
I am currently reevaluating my role as the leader of Austin Mufon. I have cancelled this month's meeting and may cancel some or all of the remaining meeting room reservations at the Austin History Center. If a current local Mufon member wishes to adopt the duties of organizing and running the monthly meetings I will gladly let them do so.
I personally need a hiatus away from Mufon. It's always been one small part of a myria of projects I've worked on and it IS a good cause. I just need a break from it so that I can focus on what are, for me, much more important and personal.
Sincerely,
Stephen Miles Lewis,
State Section Director,
Serving Travis & Williamson Counties
